The Full Story
Michele Lee Evans is a native of Washington, DC but currently residing in Houston, TX. Michele married her best friend, Jeffrey "Gunny" Evans on November 10, 2001. Michele currently holds her M.B.A with a double minor in Human Resource Management and Computer Information Systems from Strayer University, Washington D.C.

In 1998, Jeffrey and Michele started making gift baskets to sell on holidays. The gift basket business was a success. In 2005, after designing her own jewelry for a Marine Corps ball and receiving rave reviews, Michele turned to her real passion of creating one-of-a-kind, eccentric, handcrafted jewelry into Mileeva Designs, an acronym of her full name.
​Michele is a published Author with several titles including, "I Am A Survivor: Stories of Tragedy & Triumph", which is a collaboration book with six other authors, and speaks on the abuse, domestic violence, bullying and attempts at suicide each has experienced. Michele designed the book's cover, created the graphics, designed the book's website, did the editing and published the Survivor book. She has designed several websites for her own businesses, as well as others, and decided to add "Creative Solutions" to her resume and offer these services to those who need them. She is also doing a republication of the book "From Employee to Entrepreneur: The Journey to Empowerment."
In April of 2022, Michele founded KERB - Kutting Edge Radio Broadcasting where she is known as Mileeva the Diva on-air and is the host of The Friday Drive, Planet Rock and Smoothed Out Sundays. Mileeva is an acronym for her full name: MI-chele LE-e EVA-ns. The station just recently won an award for "Best Local Business" by SLM: Support Local Music. The station boasts of being "The Most Diverse Internet Radio Station on the Globe."

On January 1, 2024, Michele launched a second radio station that plays all rock and heavy metal music, a fan favorite on KERB. The station, KERB Rock and Metal or K-RAM is already boasting of high listener numbers and engagement.

Michele's favorite quote is from motivational speaker Les Brown and the inspiration behind the title of her Foundation book "R.O.A.R": "Never let someone else's opinion of you become your reality."
